Youssef Swatt's · Chute Libre

Mission

For the release of his EP Chute Libre, Youssef Swatt's wanted to give his community more than a streaming link. We designed a competitive web game that extends the record's universe: the audience doesn't just listen to the release, they play it.

The project

Challenges & Goals

Turn a music release into a participatory event, sustain attention well beyond launch day, and convert listening into measurable engagement — all within a short window, from 21 February to 12 March.

Target audience

Youssef Swatt's community and the French-speaking rap audience in Belgium and France, considerably widened since his appearance on Netflix (Nouvelle École / Rhythm + Flow France).

Delivery

Implementation

A mobile-first web game, playable from a single link with no install. Players jump from a plane without a parachute, weave between clouds, dodge obstacles and collect musical notes mid-fall. Sign-up and a leaderboard turn every run into a record attempt, with exclusive prizes at stake: concert tickets, vinyl and merchandise.

Creative approach

An art direction modelled on the EP's universe: the sky, the fall, the record's imagery. The project's title literally becomes the game mechanic — we don't tell the free fall, we play it.

Results

Over 40,000 games played in 20 days and more than 8,000 player sign-ups.
